Solution-focused hypnotherapy is a goal-oriented approach that helps you focus on finding solutions to current challenges rather than dwelling on past issues. At Focused Hypnotherapy, we work together to identify your goals and use hypnosis to help you achieve them. By concentrating on the present and future, we can guide you toward positive changes in a relatively short time. During sessions, you'll experience 'trance'—a deeply relaxing state that allows you to focus on the positive aspects of your life and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Sessions are an hour long and depending on the goal will follow a very similar format. Trance is roughly 25 mins at the end of the session, you will feel very relaxed afterwards but perfectly able to continue with all activities.
Sessions can be face to face in Stamford, Lincolnshire or alternatively online via Zoom.
I see many clients online and it is just as effective and exactly the same content and format as a face to face session. Some clients prefer this for various reasons but mainly the convenience of being in your home.
At Focused Hypnotherapy, I use hypnotherapy as a complementary therapy to help you connect with your subconscious mind and create positive changes in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. During a session, I'll guide you into a deeply relaxed state, often called a trance. This allows your conscious mind to take a step back, so we can work directly with your subconscious to address challenges like anxiety and other concerns. Together, we'll reframe negative thought patterns and encourage healthier behaviours. Hypnotherapy is a team effort, and your active participation is key to its success. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable and empowered.
Yes, hypnotherapy can be a powerful tool for addressing mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, PTSD, phobias, and stress. It's even recognised by NICE for conditions like IBS and pain relief, and it's increasingly being used in medical settings to support recovery after surgeries. At Focused Hypnotherapy, I use evidence-based techniques to help you explore the root causes of your challenges and make meaningful changes at a deep, subconscious level. Together, we can work on building effective coping strategies and improving your overall mental well-being.
